The Infectious Diseases and Immunology A (IIDA) Branch reviews grant applications broadly focused on infectious diseases and immunology, covering virology and viral pathogenesis (including HIV), bacteriology and bacterial pathogenesis, fungal pathogenesis, parasitology and parasitic diseases, cellular and molecular immunology, and fundamental aspects of the innate and adaptive immune system.
